Mother’s Day Adventures

Mother’s Day looks a little different for everyone.

For Jess, it’s a bittersweet day. She lost her mom when she was just 18, far too young to lose someone who’s supposed to be there for all the big and small moments. That loss has shaped the way she sees not only this day, but life itself.

For me (Beck), it’s a reminder that my mom is getting older. The conversations are a little slower, the hugs last a little longer, and the time we have together feels more precious than ever.

It’s easy to get caught up in cards, flowers, and brunch reservations, but the truth is, what matters most is the time spent and the memories made. We’re both so grateful for the moments we’ve had, and the moments we still get to have, with the women who shaped us.

So today, however you’re spending it, celebrating, remembering, or a little bit of both, know that you’re not alone.

Because life’s a bit… and it’s these bits of love, loss, and laughter that make it worth living. 💛
