Life’s a Bit - Countdown to Vacation
We’ve officially reached that magical point where the countdown is shorter than the list of things we still need to do before we leave. Vacation is here.

Life’s a Bit - Grounded and Grateful
Rainy days have a way of slowing everything down. The sky turns a muted gray, the air feels heavy, and raindrops tap against the windows in a steady rhythm. Plans get postponed, the to-do list suddenly feels negotiable, and the world outside seems to take a collective breath.
It’s easy to see rainy days as gloomy. The light is dimmer, the mood can dip, and the things we thought we’d be doing have to wait. But if you lean into them, they can be something else entirely—an unexpected invitation to pause.

Life’s a Bit, Let’s Talk Self-Care
Self-care is one of those things everyone says they’re going to do… until life happens.
We picture it as perfectly lit bubble baths, silk robes, and a glass of wine in hand while our favorite playlist hums in the background. And sure, that’s lovely—but most days? Self-care looks a little messier.
Sometimes it’s doing the laundry that’s been in the dryer for three days.
Sometimes it’s saying “no” to plans because your social battery is fried.
Sometimes it’s eating cereal for dinner because cooking would push you over the edge.

Mother’s Day Adventures
Sunday, May 11, 2025
Mother’s Day looks a little different for everyone.
For Jess, it’s a bittersweet day. She lost her mom when she was just 18, far too young to lose someone who’s supposed to be there for all the big and small moments. That loss has shaped the way she sees not only this day, but life itself.
For me (Beck), it’s a reminder that my mom is getting older. The conversations are a little slower, the hugs last a little longer, and the time we have together feels more precious than ever.
